British company launches talking search engineA British company has launched a technology preview of a search engine which can read out search results. Speegle can play back search results, including entire web sites as an audio stream, using one of three different voices, male and female and several verbosity levels. Speegle is forming partnerships with companies manipulating very large data sets where search and speech combined has been proven to add value. Use of the spoken word is claimed to be compelling adding a quick understanding to the complexity of a technical drawing or image. Try it out on 22/02/2005
