New search engine Blingo suggests it pays to surf the
Internet
The idea behind a new Internet search engine www.blingo.com is that surfers
will prefer it to Google since they may win a prize with each search they
do. In December 450 prizes will be given out ranging from movie tickets
to Amazon.com certificates, Netflix subscriptions, digital cameras or
iPods, with the winners chosen at random by computer. To make a profit,
Blingo sells advertising and gets click-through revenue, the same as Google
and Yahoo. Though the search quality will be less than Google, it is hoped
