| Google may be about to take on Paypal According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Google is planning to launch an electronic payment service, code name Google Wallet which could bear similarities to the PayPal service, allowing consumers to make online payments by funding electronic accounts using their credit cards or checking accounts. PayPal, along with other online-payment providers such as WorldPay, usually generate revenues by taking a commission on each transaction.
